Arcadia's
first home was built in 1919 by a group of investors who owned 640
acres at the foot of Camelback
Mountain. This area was considered the
country at a time when most Phoenicians lived downtown. Today, there
are more than 3000 homes built in this unique area. Arcadia is now
known for its beautiful, picturesque yards and halcyon home sites.

Valley was settled post World War II as part
of Maricopa County with very few commercial entities. By 1961, the town
of Paradise Valley was incorporated with only 2,000 people. Today, Paradise
Valley is still primarily residential with lots that are usually one
or more acres. Town residents still enjoy the original rustic charm and
unique desert feel of this area. Owning in Paradise Valley is a unique
privilege for a select few. Scottsdale, Arizona Scottsdale was named after U.S. Army Chaplain Winfield Scott in 1888. At the time, the Arizona Canal was being constructed which would serve as the catalyst for change to this barren desert oasis.
